Change The Name On The Deed Instead Of Making A Will?
My father doesn’t have much money to make a will and has property he wants to leave to me and one of my brothers. He is thinking of just transfering the property into our names instead of making a will as a cheaper option. We have other siblings my father isn’t leaving anything to. Can they contest us receiving the property if it is already in our names when our father passes?

I live in New Brunswick, Canada. I’m interested in making my last will and testament. I’ve looked at computerized will “kits” but I’m unsure if that’s the way to go. Can anyone here share an experience or offer any suggestions? Thanks.
